Dux Factory

Bottling factory, 1895

Library:
The Dux Factory, 25 Quarry Street, was at the time [the photo was taken] the workshop of Scott Wise, luthier. Originally (1913) an aerated water factory, the building was renovated by architect Rob Campbell in the late 1970s/early 80s as a workshop for Scott Wise. The two storey addition (1916) at the rear was the home of the Wise family. Fremantle Library Local History Collection image #2513 by Skip Watkins, 1988.

I think it's quite likely that's Scott Wise in Skip's photo.
