Tukurua
Tukurua, 1896, aka Beach House, at 7 Rosendo Street Cottesloe, was the summer residence of chief justice Septimus Burt. It was later owned by Miss Cass, who left it to her gardener. In 2015 (for $16 mill) it became the property of Andrew Forrest, who has restored it.
Le Fanu, 1890s, aka Banksia, at 2 Salvado Street Cottesloe, was built for the General Manager of the Bank of Western Australia, Henry Diggins Holmes. The Holmes were founders of the Ministering Children’s League Convalescent Home in Cottesloe. In 1945, Le Fanu was bought by the Anglican Church. In 2022 it is the property of Andrew Forrest.
Belvedere, c. 1893, at 12 Rosendo Street Cottesloe, was occupied by Thomas Campbell, father of the mining investor J.J. Campbell.
Chiritta, 56 The Esplanade, Peppermint Grove, was designed by J.J. Talbot Hobbs for Augustus Roe, son of John Septimus. Nigel Satterley now owns it.
The Cliffe, 1895, 25 Bindaring Parade, Peppermint Grove, was designed by J.J. Talbot Hobbs for Neil McNeil, and is said to be the biggest jarrah house ever built.
