Bowling Clubs

There are three bowling clubs in the City of Fremantle LGA. The oldest is the Fremantle Lawn Bowling Club (1896). It used to have its own clubhouses (two that I know of, not at the same time) but became part of the Fremantle Park Sport and Community Centre in 2020.

The Hilton Park Bowling Club Bowling and Recreation Club is in Shepherd Street Hilton, part of a large recreation area bounded by Carrington, Jeffery, Shepherd Streets and Lefroy Road, which also includes the Hilton Reserve (football etc.), Fremantle Men's Community Shed, and Ken Allen Field (rugby).

The North Fremantle Bowling Club is also in a recreation area which includes the Gordon Dedman Reserve, a skate park, and the North Fremantle Community Hall, between the Stirling Highway and Thompson Road. The Bowling Club is in 2022 undergoing a review by the Fremantle City Council.
