In Memoriam - Miss K. Caldwell

'In Memoriam - Miss K. Caldwell', Early Days, vol, 5, part 1: 52.

A FOUNDATION MEMBER

Miss. K. Caldwell was a foundation member of the Western Australian Historical Society.

She joined the Council of the Society at the beginning of 1932 and remained a member until her death— rarely missing a meeting. She held office as Honorary Research Secretary from 1932 to 1947 and as Honorary Treasurer from 1948 to 1949.

In addition to her work for the Society as a Council Member, she made an important contribution to its activities by her organisation of bus excursions to historic sites. Members will have happy recollections of many enjoyable and instructive expeditions for which she was responsible.

With the death of Miss Caldwell the Society has lost one of its best known and respected personalities.
