Globe Hotel

South Beach../north/index.html

The Inquirer, 3 February 1841, advertised this establishment as being for sale, describing it as 'that desirable property, situated on the South beach, Fremantle, with 2 frontages thereto ... The above may be considered very eligible propery, and, facing the beach, it is well calculated for a tavern or store.'

Allen Graham speculates that it may have been identical with the Albion, which was in 1831 on Lot 117 in Pakenham Street and then in 1841 on the adjoining Lot 93 in Henry Street. It/they may have been the same set of buildings.
