Jandakot Hotel
Now at 34 Prout Way Bibra Lake.
The first Jandakot Hotel, constructed in 1902 and destroyed by fire in 1909.
The second Jandakot Hotel, from 1910, built on the same site, and still extant.
There is a comprehensive history of these buildings on the Cockburn Council website. It should be noted that it says that the current structure, built after fire destroyed the wooden structure of 1902, was of 'solid stone'. It is in fact brick, most likely from the Coombe & Co steam brickworks operating in Armadale and managed by Albert Cornish 1905-33. See the Heritage Council page for the Armadale Brickworks.

It is now a Buddhist centre, but was until 2017 a private house. It is a simple brick building on a stone base resting on the earth, with a central corridor and half a dozen rooms opening off it.
The room at the former entrance on the NW corner was the front bar, with the ladies lounge to the east of it, with an opening from the bar, which is about to be bricked up. The bar has only just (2021) been removed. Here are some photos of its pressed metal facade before removal.
