Fremantle Bowling Club
The Fremantle Bowling Club was founded 26 June 1896. It is the second* oldest bowling club in the State, and the oldest still (approximately) on its original location.
The first (?) clubhouse, 1905, long gone.

The last clubhouse. My photo is not great, but would be one of the last taken of the building only days before its demolition in 2019. Note the tramline light standard in close-up on the left of the photo.
In 2021 the sign in my (c. 2018) photo has been discarded and is lying against the eastern fence of the greens.
The Fremantle Bowling Club became part of the Fremantle Park Sport and Community Centre in 2020:
What a falling off was there!
In 2022 the tramline light poles are still in situ, but probably not for much longer, as they are no longer holding anything up.

- The oldest bowling club in the state is the Perth and Tattersalls Club, founded 1895, which was originally on the Esplanade where Elizabeth Quay is now. (Another falling off.) Its greens are now on Plain Street, East Perth.
