William George b. 1871. (?This man visited Victoria per Pacific returning 8.11.1854.) Frem. Carter 1860s to 1876. Town Lot 1864 & sold in 1866. Licensee Chesterfield Inn & "Rockingham Arms". Named for him: Chester Street, South Fremantle; that part of South Fremantle formerly known as Chesterfield; as well as the (extant) Chesterfield Inn, East Rockingham. Also named for this family (Caldwell): Chester Park.
