Anthony Cornish
Anthony Cornish was a publican, and the first licensee of the Race Horse Hotel in Leake Street: he was Joseph Cooper's son-in-law, having married his daughter, Rebecca. He handed it over to his brother-in-law, Nicholas Paterson, who had married Anthony's sister Jane.

Cornish received Port Mill & Fremantle Hotel. Voyaged 23.2.1852 to Victoria per Louisa. Mr Mrs & chd. to Victoria per Hamlet 3.2.1854 & returned 18.5.1854. With family to London per Daylight 10.1.1885. Trader, miller, builder, Frem. Retired 1867 to farm "Hampstead" Pinjarra. Pinjarra Bd. Educ. 1867. Stockowner. Employed T/L men 186?-1871.
