John Alexander Dutton
DUTTON, John Alexander, b. 1800, arr. 6.10.1829 per Lotus with wife Mary Ann b. 1804 & 3 chd. John b. 1826, Frederick b. 1828 & Julia b. 1829. (John was lost in the bush & returned by Aborigines 1 month later). Ship broker, granted 1000 acres in Murray district, 3600 acres in Canning district & 10 acres in the Swan district. Dep. 26.1.1833 per Governor Burke with his family. In 1841 his Murray land was resumed by the Govt.
