Alexander Fendam
aka Fandam
Erickson:
FENDAM, Alexander, b. 1789, d. 25.8.1833, arr. 2.6.1829 per Parmelia with wife Mary b. 1789 d. 7.8.1831 (Garden Is). He was in Govt. service as a cooper, stationed at Garden Is. with Morgan, the Govt keeper of the stores. He was granted 100 acres. Applied to leave for England at end of 3 yr term instead of 5 yrs as contracted, but died & was buried beside his wife at Garden Island.
He was from Deptford.
