Geoff Graham
Geoff Graham is a Fremantle City Councillor (1997-2000, 2005-06, 2019-2027). Until 2023 he represented the Beaconsfield ward. From 2023 it is the new Central ward.
His brother, Allen Graham, is the author of Inns and Outs, a history of Freo pubs.
Election statement:
I am standing for the newly created Central Ward as an independent representative with a strong commitment to the community.
As a lifelong resident of Fremantle and currently one of your local representatives I understand the relationship between the Council and the Community. I will use my experience to ensure residents are listened to and have an effective voice.
I am committed to supporting lower speed limits to improve safety and accessibility on our streets. Being an active member of the community, I endeavour to improve recreation facilities, including lighting and safety at Bruce Lee Oval to ensure a safe environment for sporting clubs.
I have a strong interest in planning and heritage and will continue to advocate for sympathetic development of the Heart of Beaconsfield and former Tafe site. I encourage community gardens and local sustainability initiatives for a cleaner environment to achieve net zero emissions.
A vote for me is a vote for stability, experience, and common sense.

I am standing for Beaconsfield ward as an independent representative with a clear sense of perspective and a commitment to the community. I am a lifetime resident of Beaconsfield and have had previous council experience. I will listen and respond to the needs of the local community to ensure residents of Beaconsfield have a strong and respected voice. I will fight to ensure the redevelopment of the Heart of Beaconsfield Project will be sympathetic to its surroundings and endeavour to ensure Bruce Lee Oval will not be compromised. I give a commitment to support the beautification of the Beaconsfield Precinct east of Carrington Street. I support Fremantle’s heritage, will fight for more funding for local recreation and sporting facilities and aim to keep rate increases to a minimum.
