Granted 800 acres. Opened "Pineapple Inn" on Swan River. Avon Valley farmer "Carolin" York. Held leasehold 1853. Employed some T/L men 1851.
In the 1832 census, he is shown as coming from Hampshire with his wife Mary and four children from Portsmouth, on the Warrior.
