Taking Liberty

2008, revived 2011

In 2008, Perth Theatre Company presented the world premiere of Taking Liberty, to great acclaim. The play won the Equity Guild award for best new play.

In 2011, Taking Liberty was staged by Deckchair Theatre in Fremantle to coincide with the World Sailing Championships. Again, the play received excellent reviews, and audiences flocked to this memorable production.

"Any boss who sacks a worker for not turning up today is a bum." Bob Hawke MP (Prime Minister of Australia 1983 -1991)
