Isaac Nelson

From the entry in the Dictionary of West Australians, it seems that Isaac Nelson arrived 23 August 1829, took one look, and left on the Calista, which had only arrived 5 August 1829, and presumably had not got around to leaving yet. The date when it did leave is unknown. He may have set the record for the would-be settler who spent the least time here.

Erickson:
NELSON, Isaac, b. 1792, arr. 23.8.1829 per Marquis of Anglesea with wife Harriett b. 1798 & 3 chd. John b. 1823, Sophia b. 1825 & William b. 1827. Also a servant J. Hampshire. He intended selling some of his property when he requested permission to leave with family & servant per Calista in 1829.
