Importer of shoes c.1895 & secretary to Pearse Bros. at their shoe factory. Had a sailmaking business supplying Broome pearling fleet. This was closed after his wife's death, she ran tea-rooms also in Adelaide Terrace. Visited England 1899 with dtr . Jessie .
