Cappuccino Strip

The Cappuccino Strip is that part of South Terrace from Market Street to either Essex Street (my preference) or Parry/Norfolk Street (or even beyond, according the FCC, which calls the car park southeast of Parry Street by that name).

I believe - because he told me so - that the term was coined by real estate agent Jeff Brockway - who had an office there (before moving to Wray Avenue) before he died. I mentioned this to senior real estate agent John Dethridge, and, though he couldn't confirm the coinage, he did remember that Brockway Real Estate advertised its South Terrace office as being 'on the Cappuccino Strip'.

That's Gino's in the photo, with the Literary Institite building to the left.
