Egyptian
The Egyptian brought passengers to the Swan River Colony on two occasions, 13 February 1830, and 28 December 1831, the first from London, master W. Lilburn, with 69 (or 78) passengers, and the second from London, master W. Lilburn, with 65 passengers.
Among the passengers on the second voyage were Alexander Anderson and family.
According to Berryman (1979: 14) passenger lists for the first voyage exist, but not the second.
Lilburn does not seem to have stayed in the colony except while his ship was in port, but his name was left here when Lionel Lukin named his property in North Fremantle after him. There was also a Lilburn Road adjacent to the property, running east-west near the river.
