Mary Ann d. 1853 infancy, ?Thomas d. 1854, John Joseph b. 1856 d. 1928, Mary Ann Eliza b. 1858 d. 1935, Henry James W. Listed as a farm labourer in passenger list. Frem: cook, confectioner & general storekeeper. His widow continued the business & bt. Town Lot in 1866. She also engaged in pastoral & pearling interests in partnership with her son. She employed 17 T/L men on occasions 1860-1876. Congreg. (Erickson)

John Henry Higham was born on 11-Apr-1817 in Fairfield, Lancashire, England. He died on 22-Nov-1858 in Perth, Western Australia, Australia. He married Mary Ann Phipps in Oct-1845 in Towcester, Northamptonshire, England. She was born about 1817. She died on 21-Apr-1883 in Fremantle (WA BDM 11709/1883). (Ward)
